Attorney - Complex Commercial Litigation:

Perry, Johnson, Anderson, Miller & Moskowitz, LLP seeks both a junior and a senior associate attorney to join our high-stakes, complex commercial litigation group.  Ideal candidates for the senior associate position will have 4+ years of litigation experience and either experience in, or a desire to learn about, securities and structured finance litigation (especially mortgage-backed securities), distressed investment disputes, and other issues involving complex financial structures. Ideal candidates for the junior associate position will have 1-3 years of litigation experience and possess a similar desire to learn about securities and distressed investment litigation. All candidates should possess strong skills in legal research and writing, as well as excellent communication skills and the desire to work hard on interesting cases while building lasting relationships.  Experience drafting and negotiating discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting pleadings, arguing in court, and negotiating settlements are all plusses.

Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong initiative, analytical skills, attention to detail and diligence. Responsibilities include direct communications with clients to respond to discovery, drafting discovery and summarizing responses, drafting substantive correspondence and pleadings, deposition preparation, and expert discovery.
