Kit designs and implements thoughtful, sophisticated estate plans and wealth transfer strategies that balance tax efficiency with her clients’ personal, philanthropic, and business succession goals. She also represents fiduciaries and beneficiaries in all aspects of trust and estate administrations. Her practice includes preparing and filing gift and estate tax returns and representing clients in related IRS controversy matters.

Kit counsels clients from an array of backgrounds and industries—including real estate developers, winery owners, venture capitalists, philanthropists, and executive leadership. Her empathetic and pragmatic approach empowers clients to make confident, tax-informed decisions about their legacy.

She began her legal career at a large firm in San Francisco where she represented ultra-high net worth individuals and families for several years. Prior to becoming an attorney, and while earning her law degree in night school, Kit worked in finance with the Andersen San Francisco valuation group, performing business valuations.

Education and Memberships

Kit earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of San Francisco School of Law evening program while working full time in finance. She later completed her LL.M. in Taxation, with an emphasis on estate planning, through NYU School of Law while practicing full time as an estate planning attorney.

Kit is President of the Redwood Empire Estate Planning Council and a Co-Chair of the San Francisco Barristers Tax, Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section.

Kit has been recognized as a Northern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers for 2024, 2025, and 2026.

Community Involvement

A Sonoma County native, Kit is deeply invested in the local community. She presently serves as Secretary of the Board for the Community Foundation Sonoma County, among other volunteer commitments.
