Jeremy Olsan leads the firm's business law group. Mr. Olsan has counseled individuals and public and private business entities for over twenty years. He represents clients involved in complex, multi-million dollar real estate and business transactions, winery, vineyard, and construction transactions, as well as all matters related to real estate and business formation, and for-profit and not-for-profit corporate governance. He has also litigated business, real estate, construction, and commercial landlord/tenant matters. In March 2010, Mr. Olsan was voted the "Best Attorney, Sonoma County", by the readers of the North Bay Bohemian Newspaper.
Mr. Olsan is joined in the business group by Mike Miller, Les Perry, Roger Illsley and Burt Fohrman, all of whom have over 25 years of experience.
Roger Illsley is a Sonoma County native who has decades of experience with real estate, corporate, and business, formation and transactions. Mr. Illsley has also been on the faculty of Empire College of Law for more than 20 years, teaching classes in Commercial Law and Contracts.
Burton H. Fohrman has national and international business transaction experience. His clients include multinational corporations, governments, and investors with financial interests in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. In addition Mr. Fohrman provides land purchase, merger and acquisition and business structure counsel to a variety of vineyard owners and wineries in Sonoma and Napa Counties, primarily producers of ultra premium wines.
Michael G. Miller advices employers on all matter relating to employment law in including wage and hour law, employee complaints and developing appropriate policies. Mr. Miller also has represented clients in over 60 jury trials.
Leslie R. Perry provides expertise in the land use, CEQA and entitlement process to assist clients in achieving their development goals.
