Mary Jane Schneider
Areas of Practice:
Ms. Schneider practices in the areas of family law, custody, business valuation
and division. Ms. Schneider also provides mediation services to couples
desiring to mediate their family law matters, and she accepts collaborative
law matters.
Experience:
Ms. Schneider has practiced law in Sonoma County since 1985. She had 15
years of general civil practice until 2000, with a primary emphasis on family
law during that period of time. Ms. Schneider maintains the continuing
legal education required for family law specialization.
Community Involvement:
Ms. Schneider is currently a member of the Board of Directors
of the Family Service Agency of Sonoma County (vice-president). Ms. Schneider was a member of
the Credentialing Committee for Health Plan of the Redwoods.
Ms. Schneider received a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology from Mills College, a Master of Arts Degree in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling from Sonoma State University and a Juris Doctorate from Empire College School of Law. Ms. Schneider is admitted to practice in California and the U.S. District Court for Northern District of California.
