Marla D. Keenan
Areas of Practice:
Ms. Keenan practices in the area of family law, guardianships and step-parent
and adult adoptions.
Experience:
Ms. Keenan has practiced family law in Sonoma County since
1999. She
has been an associate with the firm of Perry, Johnson, Anderson, Miller & Moskowitz
since 2002. Prior to practicing law Ms. Keenan was a certified law clerk
for the Family Support Division of the Sonoma County District Attorney’s
Office (1996 to 1999).
Community Involvement:
Ms. Keenan is currently a member of the Sonoma County Bar Association,
State Bar of California, Family Law Section of the Sonoma
County Bar Association and Sonoma County Women in Law (Secretary,
2001 to 2002). Ms. Keenan
was a former member of Inns of Court (2002 to 2003). In
addition, Ms. Keenan is a part of the family law attorney volunteer
program, appears regularly at the Self Represented Domestic
Calendar to assist self-represented litigants as directed by
the court.
Ms. Keenan attended the University of California, Berkeley as an undergraduate obtaining her Bachelor of Science Degree in 1994. Ms. Keenan then went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from Empire Law School and graduated in 1999, cum laude. Ms. Keenan is admitted to practice law in California.
