Experience:
Ms. Carvalho joined Perry, Johnson, Anderson, Miller & Moskowitz
in September 2005. Prior to moving to Santa Rosa, she worked
as a family law attorney in Napa, California. During law school,
Ms. Carvalho was a certified law student for the Family Protection
Clinic in Woodland, California, where she represented lower-income
and Spanish-speaking clients in family law matters. She later
served as a law clerk for the Family Law Facilitator’s
office for the Superior Court of California, Yolo County.
Community Involvement:
Ms. Carvalho volunteers with the Legal Aid of Sonoma County,
Self Help Access Center (SHAC) program where she assists self-represented
litigants in family law matters. During law school, Ms. Carvalho
worked as a law clerk for Legal Services of Northern California
in Sacramento, California.
Education and Memberships:
Ms. Carvalho received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International
Affairs and Hispanic Studies from Lewis & Clark College
in 1996. After graduation, she was named a Rotary International
Ambassadorial Scholar and spent a year studying in Granada,
Spain. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University
of California, Davis School of Law, in 2004. Ms. Carvalho grew
up in Edina, Minnesota. She is a member of the Sonoma County
Women in Law association.
